The exhibition of Artistic Splendours: Thirty Years of Contemporary Art from China and Singapore showcases the diverse thoughts and artistic expressions of artists from both China and Singapore on the themes of home, nature, culture, and urban landscapes. Therefore, we have invited young musicians Cai Yuxiu and Li Caiying. Inspired by the atmosphere of cultural collision and integration between China and Singapore felt during their visit to the exhibition, they will use music as a medium. Not only will they simulate the process of visitors experiencing the art museum with their music, but they will also use collected building materials from the museum site as "instruments," combining them with small percussion instruments for performance. Through each beat of the drum and every rhythm, they will convey the distinct acoustic pulses of China and Singapore, leading the audience on a magical journey where illusion and reality coexist.
