Drawing Architecture Studio conceptualizes urban research as an open-ended exploration of form and storytelling, experimenting with architectural models, art installations, graphic novels, scholarly publications, and other media to dissolve boundaries between image and space, uniquely redefining the possibilities of drawing, spatial design, and urban studies. The studio's methodology of "Observation and Documentation" and its philosophy of merging "drawing" with "making" also inspire this workshop's framework. Participants will reexamine the relationship between cities and living spaces from personal to collective perspectives. Using the expressive medium of pop-up books, they will transform two-dimensional visuals into three-dimensional structures, repurposing leftover colored cardstock from the Floating House exhibition. Together, we will envision sustainable urban vitality and future possibilities.
